1 ‑ Temporary Full Time ‑Registered Nurse

Reporting to the Manager of Neonatal Intensive Care and Maternity Centre, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients including complex patient populations whose outcomes are not predictable. You will practice within the Professional Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Philosophy of patient and family centered care, and the policies of Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonatal and maternity patients, including preterm infants and critically ill children.
• Use the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver individualized care plans.
• Recognize and respond to abnormal or unexpected patient reactions.
