Registered Nurse - Unit 3G3 Orthopedic/Spine

Your Opportunity:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive patient and family centered care on an acute surgical unit in accordance with the UAH and AHS policy and procedures. 3G3 is an 18+ bed unit providing care to Orthopedic, Spine and General Surgery patients received from the operating room, emergency department, intensive care unit and directly from home and/or surgery clinics. The RN must be able to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment, including standing, walking, lifting, pushing/pulling greater 25-50lbs, as well as reaching for patients who range from low to high BMI. Must not have any current activity restrictions, such as pulling, pushing, reaching and bending. Minimum two years experience working in an acute care hospital's orthopedic unit.
