Registered Nurses – Surgical

Exciting opportunities are available for skilled and motivated Registered Nurses with a minimum of 3 years acute clinical experience to join a dynamic team at a private hospital in Melbourne. There are both permanent full-time and part-time roles available. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering evidence-based nursing care;

Supporting patients with complex surgical (post-colorectal, bariatric, and intercostal drain patients) and medical needs;

Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;

Ensuring patient and staff safety.

REQUIREMENTS

Current Registration with AHPRA;

3+ years of acute nursing experience (surgical or acute clinical setting);

Strong clinical assessment and escalation skills;

Experience in telemetry monitoring(desirable) or willingness to learn and manage deteriorating patients;
