Registered Pharmacist

JOB PURPOSE

Pharmacists are responsible for controlling, dispensing, distributing, and promoting generic medicines. He/she is governed by legal and ethical guidelines to ensure the correct and safe supply of medicines in the store. He/she is involved in maintaining and improving people's health by providing advice and information as well as supplying prescription medicines. As a pharmacist, they are responsible for selling over-the-counter medical products and instructing patients on the proper administration and use of these medicines

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare orders and fill prescription forms

Dispense drugs and conducts counseling for customers

Order and store medicines, making sure that they are kept safe, pure, and effective

Dispense medications following prescriptions issued by an authorized medical practitioner
