Registered Pharmacist

The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing appropriate patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with legal, professional, and ethical standards. The role includes maintaining inventory, monitoring drug usage, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to promote safe and effective medication therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
• Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriateness of prescribed medications.
• Provide counseling to patients on proper medication usage, dosage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, DOH, PRC, etc.).
• Maintain proper storage, security, and handling of medicines.
• Monitor patient medication therapies and suggest alternatives when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and inventory.
