Polysomnographic Technologist

Schedule: 7PM - 7AM with occasional day time study.

Position Summary: A Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the clinical director to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. The technologist will be able to perform 16 channel polysomnography and associated patient care and education. This includes, but is not limited to: applying electrodes and sensors, calibrations of equipment, ensuring quality data collection and diagnostic procedures. The technologist must also provide accurate scoring, documentation and implement a variety of PAP therapies. A Polysomnographic Technologist can perform the duties defined for a Polysomnographic Technician and may provide supervision of other staff.
