Registered Practical Nurse at Extendicare

Reporting to the Director of Care, you will provide planned nursing care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Your role involves direct patient care, medication administration, and active participation in care plan assessments. Strong organizational skills and foundational nursing knowledge are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and evaluate individualized care/service plans
• Facilitate resident care conferences and documentation
• Administer treatments and educate residents and families
• Respond to medical emergencies and significant resident changes
• Uphold Extendicare's ethics in all interactions

Requirements:
• Registration as a Practical Nurse in your province
• Preferred experience in senior care settings
