Responsibilities

• The nurse fulfilling this role will be required to provide support to all clinical areas of the hospital according to their scope of practice and clinical expertise.
• To administer direct nursing care for patients in those areas assigned.
• Plans, organizes, and delivers nursing care in a variety of settings.
• Initiate and assist in Code Blue & Rapid Response procedure.
• Plans for and communicates to other nursing staff regarding patient needs and priorities when leaving one patient care area to ensure continuity of care.
