Responsibilities

• As a member of an inter-professional team and working under full scope of practice, the role of the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) at Providence Care is to deliver safe, effective, patient centred care to assigned patients in a non-acute setting as outlined by hospital policies and procedures and the Standards of Nursing Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• The RPN will assist patients and their caregivers to manage clinical conditions and transitions and enhance quality of life by meeting the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of each person.
