Position Overview

Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) – Casual Position Available – Hourly rate $37.07–$39.01. Works at Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre, Niagara Region.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care through the application of the nursing process, including conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, providing education, and evaluation.
• Acts as a resource and provides leadership to other health care providers and unregulated health care aides, assigning tasks within scope of practice and offering guidance and support as needed.
• Coordinates seamless delivery of care to patients and their families, assisting them in accessing the health care system, moving through the system, and discharging from the system, and coordinating referral of patients to the appropriate members of the professional health care team.
