Registered Practical Nurse (CUPE) - Transitional Care

We are looking for a Registered Practical Nurse to join our interprofessional team and provide care to alternative level of care (ALC) patients awaiting transition back to the community. The RPN will work in a patient/family-centered environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for ALC patients.
• Practice patient/family-centered care and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses
• BLS certification
• Recent experience managing patients with aggressive behaviors
• Recent related inpatient rehabilitation and/or inpatient medical/surgical experience
• Evidence of well-developed clinical skills
