Registered Professional Nurse

JOB PURPOSE

The Professional Nurse, registered by SANC, takes control of the entire Healthcare facility. To support the General Manager within the facility in providing leadership to the care team and management of the facility within the available resources. The incumbent will have a key responsibility for the quality of nursing assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation and associated care staff training issues to ensure that at all times, residents receive an excellent standard of care.

Their overall job is making sure every aspect of the clinical and nursing care is done not only professionally but in keeping with health and safety regulations as well as following all the facility's policies and procedures, while ensuring all residents are comfortable, safe, and taken care of according to their individual care plans.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
