Registered Respiratory Therapist

OVERVIEW

Responsible for performing and processing pulmonary function tests. Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

EDUCATION

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the field of pulmonary technology or commitment to obtain such registration within 12 months from the start date.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 months full‑time experience in a pulmonary function lab with independent performing and processing of pulmonary function tests in hospital settings.
• Ability to work independently in partnership with Respirologists and other care team members.
• Team‑work focused with ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated organizational ability.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
