Responsibilities

• Provides safe and quality care to patients within the department. Collects records and verifies patient history and information. Obtains informed consent when required.
• Performs a variety of diagnostic procedures in the Breast Imaging department in accordance with applicable legislation, clinical standards and departmental procedures.
• Perform Radiologist supervised breast ultrasound.
• Assists radiologists in image guided procedures.
• Maintains adequate records and documentation according to departmental policy and procedures.
• Performs required care and maintenance of equipment as required.
• Assists radiology residents and fellows within the Breast Imaging division.
• Collaborates and participates in imaging research as directed.
