Registration Receptionist

Overview

Primary Purpose Under the supervision of the Group Practice Manager, the Registration Receptionist supports a variety of duties related to patient intake and welcomes and assists all patients arriving at the Dental School Sacramento CA Campus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to the School of Dentistry; triage and direct patients to appropriate area/department as necessary; communicate with clinic staff regarding patient arrivals as needed.
• Observe and ensure the smooth flow through the patient entrance, registration area, and check-in kiosk.
• Report issues to Public Safety, the appropriate department, or individuals.
• Work closely with Group Practice Coordinators, Main Clinic Schedulers, and other clinic Managers to ensure a smooth flow of patients.
