Rehab Aide

*_SUMMARY:_*
We are seeking a*Rehab Aide*to join our team. This fulltime role will work days (Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) between ourKnapp Rehab Center and Acute Therapy Services.
*Purpose of this position:*Under close supervision of therapists (Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist), performs work in a service position to assist, transport and prepare therapy patients for procedures. Maintains treatment area.
*_RESPONSIBILITIES:_*
* Transports patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs and standing support
* Assists therapists with preparing patients for procedures
* Secures patient onto therapy equipment
* Assists therapists with treatments, exercises and functional activities under direct supervision
* Prepares, cleans and maintains work area and disinfects equipment after treatment
* Performs inventory and stocking of supplies and equipment
* Performs clerical duties:
o Processing inpatient orders
