Job Description

Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
Own the monthly and quarterly close and perform accounting activities related to the newly established insurance carrier under both Belgian accounting principles and IFRS
Provide accounting support to the reinsurance and general accounting teams
Produce statutory accounts and regulatory filing under Belgian GAAP
Prepare IFRS reporting packages for Group consolidation and deliver management reporting with supporting commentary
Qualifications required:
Academic degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Sciences
You are fluent in English. Dutch or French are a plus
Experience required:
5+ years’ experience in accounting or audit, preferably in the financial services industry or a large corporate. Experience in insurance/reinsurance is a plus
