About Potash And The Jansen Project

Located about 140 kilometers east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Jansen is set to become one of the largest and most sustainable potash mines on the planet. With a CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment, it marks the biggest private investment in Saskatchewan’s history, and a bold step forward for BHP in Canada. But Jansen is more than a mine; it’s a long‑term opportunity to build something meaningful. During construction, it will create around 5,500 jobs, and once in operation, 900 permanent roles.
