TITLE: Relief Groundsperson 1 - 40 HoursDEPARTMENT: Facility ServicesREPORTS TO: General Manager, Facility ServicesWAGE: $29.02 hourly wage effective July 1, 2024SUMMARY: Under general direction the Grounds Person is responsible for the maintenance, repair and general upkeep of grounds. The Grounds Person works cooperatively with other employees, students and the public. DUTIES: Operate equipment, vehicles, trucks, and/or in combination with trailer units. Installs and/or maintains playfield and playground equipment such as goal posts, basketball hoops and swings, occasionally using simple site plans and working drawings. Shovel soil, snow, collecting litter and emptying garbage containers. Turf grass and irrigation maintenance. Assists with installation of blacktop and concrete on small projects.
