Job Description
Take on the role of Indigenous Relations Consultant at Peace Hills Insurance on a part-time contract focused on community engagement and recruitment strategies. This remote position is pivotal in fostering connections with Indigenous peoples in Alberta.
In this role, you will report to the Vice President and work primarily with the Samson Cree Nation to build trust, advocate for recruitment strategies, and organize community events. Your efforts will facilitate effective communication of employment opportunities to Indigenous individuals, strengthening the company's brand within diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate Indigenous Relations strategy to align with corporate missions
• Establish direct relationships with Indigenous communities
• Promote recruitment initiatives through targeted communications
• Coordinate events that enhance brand visibility
• Support cultural awareness in Peace Hills Insurance
