Remote Project Accountant Timmins Operations

Become a critical part of the Team at Lake Shore Gold as a Project Accountant. This remote role supports the Bell Creek Shaft expansion with financial reporting and cost analysis.
In this full-time position, you will directly impact project success by managing month-end accruals, journal entries, and variance analysis for multiple mining projects. Your expertise in cost accounting will help ensure timely and accurate financial management, supporting project management in maintaining schedules and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support accounting for multiple projects from initiation to completion
• Prepare monthly project cost reports and forecasts
• Monitor spending and provide timely updates to stakeholders
• Reconcile project costs with the general ledger monthly
• Assist the finance team as needed
Requirements:
• Degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA preferred
