Job Title~ Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller
Job Description~ We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller to manage end-to-end accounting operations with minimal supervision. This position reports directly to the CFO and requires expertise across multiple accounting functions including revenue accounting, sales & use tax, inventory accounting, cost accounting, and payroll accounting.
Key Responsibilities~
Record and reconcile daily revenue from Gravity POS and Sunstar/Datacap arcade systems
Reconcile credit card deposits, receivables, and chargebacks
Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue balances
Ensure accurate revenue recognition according to accounting standards
Prepare and file multi-state sales & use tax returns
Maintain exemption certificates and ensure proper tax treatment across locations
Respond to notices and support audits related to sales & use tax
