Remote WordPress Developer

About the Job

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented WordPress Developer to help manage and improve our websites. This role is hands-on: you'll build and maintain pages, troubleshoot issues, keep sites organized and fast, and support our team with ongoing updates. The ideal person is a strong problem-solver who can work independently, communicate clearly, and learn new tools quickly.

This is a 25-30 hr/week contract position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage WordPress backend workflows (pages, media, plugins, folders, imports/exports).

• Manage SEO plugins and settings (Rank Math and/or Yoast) and assist with on-page optimization basics.

• Work with Salient / Elementor templates and theme components to build, update, and improve pages.

• Handle responsive fixes across desktop/tablet/mobile (CSS/layout troubleshooting as needed).
