We are seeking a reliable Removals Porter to join our Johnson's team in the Winsford region. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of office and household furniture. Duties Safely packaging items before removal or storage Wrap & protect furniture into special wrappings and packing cases for shipping overseas. As a specialist packer, you might go to a location before the move to wrap and pack delicate items, like china, glass, artwork and antiques. Using packaging to protect fragile items such as computers or antiques. Taking apart larger items of furniture for packing and removal. Taking down curtains and lifting carpets if needed. Removing doors, door frames or windows to get large pieces of furniture in or out of a building Packing items, loading them into vehicles and securing them safely Checking that all goods are secure before driving off.
