Responsibilities The Mountaineer weekly newspaper is looking for an energetic, community‑minded reporter with a passion for writing accurate and engaging stories. 
Responsibilities include: 
Coverage of Town of Rocky news, including regular council meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of the month 
Generating content for special sections 
Writing and photography across breaking news, sports, industry coverage, politics, feature and outdoor/environmental assignments 
Flex‑time work including some weekend and evening assignments 
Qualifications Qualified candidates must have a journalism diploma or certificate, adhere to journalism ethics and the news media code of practice, and possess their own transportation and camera equipment.
