Rescue Technician

Job description24 Hr Safety is currently recruiting Full-time Rescue Technicians to provide technical rescue standby for customer projects, to include confined space, high angle, fire, and hazmat emergencies. Rescue Technicians are assigned work in various refineries, chemical plants pipeline, and terminal facilities. The technician ensures the safety of victims, co-workers, and bystanders during emergencies and works in compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and other safety standards.

Position Duties/Responsibilities:

+ Work under the direction of the lead rescuer and in conjunction with other team members to ensure a safe and efficient rescue response

+ Ensure proper understanding of the rescue plan and their respective role in case of emergency

+ Set up anchor points and rescue systems prior to job start to facilitate procedures in the rescue plan
