Research Analyst - Spanish

Overview

Perform research and analyze proxy statements to complete proxy analyses for shareholders’ meetings of publicly traded companies covered by ISS’ Research team.

Responsibilities

• Perform investment research and proxy analyses for shareholders’ meetings of publicly traded companies in the Latin American markets.
• Develop market expertise in corporate governance, investment, and shareholder issues gathered through fundamental research and engagement with company executives, institutional investors, and various organizations and government/regulatory/listing authorities.
• Read and understand filings (in Spanish) and distill financial, industry, and corporate governance information to draft analyses and issue proxy vote recommendations (in English) based on ISS' policy guidelines (available at issgovernance.com/policy).
