The Bank for International Settlements has an exciting opportunity for a Research Analyst at the Representative Office in Mexico City.
**Purpose of the role**:In this role you will work with the Bank's economists and support innovative research.As part of a diverse and highly qualified team, you will collect, process and analyse statistical and econometric data from a range of sources including central banks, supervisory authorities and international organisations.
- Creating graphs and tables for use in publications and at key meetings of senior decision-makers to discuss global financial topics.
- Maintaining statistical databases for internal and external use, and providing solutions to issues related to large data sets and firm-level data.
- Conducting data quality control to ensure that data meet the highest standards.
- Conduct econometric analysis with BIS economists.
- Read and extract information from academic and central bank publications.
