Job Description
- Assist in the development of new products to meet company's or customers' specifications based upon availability of resources including ingredients, production equipment and other supplies.
- Source out raw materials needed for new product development.
- Research and develop process improvement.
- Coordinate with Purchasing Dept. for procurement of needed raw materials.
- Formulates new products and reformulate existing product in accordance to the standard specifications.
- Conduct sensory evaluation on new products for approval of Supervisor and the GM.
- Conduct production trial run for new and if needed, for reformulated products.
- Conduct accelerated and actual shelf-life for new and reformulated products.
- Ensure proper technology transfer to production for new products
- Ensure proper documentation of new product when endorse to production and Accounting.
