We're looking for a Research & Product Development Specialist to help turn bold ideas into world-class dried mango and fruit products — from concept all the way to shelf.
Location: Hoedspruit
Salary: R R50 000 per month
What you'll be doing
Driving the development of new dried fruit and fruit-based products
Researching fruit varieties, processing techniques, and shelf-life optimisation
Ensuring products meet HACCP, food safety, and regulatory standards
Collaborating with production, marketing, and suppliers to launch new products
Supporting R&D-related procurement, logistics, and inventory management
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
2–3 years' experience in R&D (fruit, beverage, or similar sectors preferred)
Strong skills in food formulation, sensory evaluation, and processing technologies
