Job Description
The project is to be carried out in collaboration with Schaeffler to study 'collision monitoring and control system of cobot based on fiber optic sensing and deep learning'. Research Assistant/ Project Officer will be supporting the Project Lead to deliver the project, ensuring that the overall project output meets the requirements.
Research Assistant/Project Officer's responsibilities whilst not exhaustive will include: Work with internal team members, interfacing teams, partners and suppliers to ensure technical requirements are understood as required
Plan and execute experiments
Capture and analyse data
Resolve technical problems
Perform technical research and technical report writing
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic, Optical Engineering or related field from a reputable University
Experience in sensing, condition monitoring or structural health monitoring
Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as C, C++ an...
