Description

The Department of Microbiology invites candidates with an interest in molecular biology to join a highly interactive research team studying human microbiome and human diseases.

Applicants should have (i) a Master’s degree, preferably in Biological Sciences/Medical related disciplines (for Research Assistant); OR a relevant BSc degree (for Junior Research Assistant); (ii) a good command of Cantonese and English; and (iii) proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience in working in diagnostic laboratory, proficiency in microbiology and molecular biology techniques including cell culture, PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, sequencing, mouse experiment will be an advantage.
