Job description: The labs of Associate Professor Ji Sun, Assistant Professor Yong Zi Tan and Assistant Professor Chunyi Hu are looking for a cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM) specialist. This person will support the daily cryo-EM operations of the three labs, and work with biological researchers from these labs for cryo-EM. The labs are core members of the Centre for BioImaging Sciences' (CBIS), and have access to high-end cryo-EM microscopes, including two Titan Krios and one T12 screening microscope. Main Responsibilities o Grid clipping and loading o Operation of microscopes for data collections (mainly cryo-EM data collection) o Data transfer o Documentation of data collection parameters, etc o Other house-keeping work on general cryo-EM work o Purchasing and inventory maintenance for cryo-EM related consumables o Teaching others on cryo-EM Qualifications
