The Nalanda Professorship in India-China Studies is a unique partnership between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Nalanda Library Fund Limited (NLFL), grounded in a mutual commitment to research excellence and international cultural exchange. This initiative seeks to advance the study of India-China relations by exploring the deep historical, cultural, economic, and intellectual ties between these two great civilizations.
The successful applicant will be hosted at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and will work with the Centre on Asia and Globalisation (CAG) and the Nalanda Visiting Professor based at the Asia Research Institute (ARI). The Nalanda visiting professorship will be held by a distinguished expert in India-China studies, who will conduct original research and oversee a long-term project to compile an encyclopaedia of India-China relations.
