About the role

The Research and Development Officer in our Composite Fibre Technologies (CFT) business is a pivotal role with a key focus on developing and delivering R&D initiatives which support the commercialisation of CFT products across target applications.

Main Responsibilities

• Hands-on duties operating with construction materials and within a chemistry laboratory, including hazardous chemicals and manual handling
• Conduct lab trials, clean and maintain lab equipment and assist with field trials as required
• Early research, investigation and feasibility of new ideas, both product and materials
