Research & Development Officer
Foodchoice Corp.Job Description
Product Development: Create new food products (snack food, baked goods, plant-based items) and enhance current ones for flavor, texture, nutrition, and shelf-life.
Formula & Specification Management: Develop and maintain precise product formulations, specifications, and technical documentation.
Process Scaling: Scale up benchtop formulations to pilot plant and full-scale production, ensuring consistency.
Testing & Analysis: Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses; conduct sensory evaluations and nutritional analysis.
Project Management: Lead projects from ideation through launch, managing timelines and technical challenges.
Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Operations, Procurement, and Quality Assurance (QA/FSQA).
Compliance: Ensure products meet food safety, regulatory, and internal standards.
