Institute of Microelectronics (IME) is leading an R&D initiative focused on advancing critical process modules for next-generation semiconductor device fabrication. One key area of innovation is ion implantation, an essential step in creating high-performance devices.
Role Overview
This position offers an opportunity to develop strong expertise in ion implantation process technology, including lattice damage control, channelling effects, and post-implant recovery. You will work closely with a Senior Scientist to support ion implantation processes, run simulations, and apply fundamental knowledge of crystallography and ion-atom interactions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and technology development groups will be a key part of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues using basic diagnostic tools and understanding of ion implanter systems.
