The School of Natural and Built Environment at Queen’s University Belfast is seeking to hire a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work on the ThermoCal project (THERMOphysical properties of CALedonian rock materials to de-risk geothermal development), a collaboration between the University of Glasgow, Queen’s University Belfast, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the Norwegian Geological Survey as well as a number of other research and industry partners. This project is supported by the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council [grant number P/U536878/1].
The Research Fellow will undertake research tasks during the project with the support of the project’s coinvestigators based at Queen’s University Belfast and the network of project partners. The post is fixed-term for 24 months, starting 1st September 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter).
