Job Description
This posting is for two postdoctoral research positions in the exciting areas of electrochemical ammonia synthesis in the Xianbiao Fu group, which is affiliated with the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
The perspective postdoctoral positions are to develop: Understanding the mechanism of Li-mediated NRR and Ca-mediated NRR Exploring novel methods for nitrogen activation under mild conditions Ammonia electro-oxidation and decomposition Artificial synthesis of amino acids Electrosynthesis of high-value fine chemicals Electrocatalysis in organic systems Precision synthesis of model (single crystal) catalysts and the design of novel electrochemical reactors
Extensive state-of-the-art infrastructure for materials synthesis, electrochemistry test and characterization is established at the Department of MSE.
