Description

Conduct and complete funded neuroscience research projects, including the design, execution, and analysis of experiments related to neurological function and disease (e.g., neurodegeneration/synucleinopathy, brain injury) using molecular, cellular, biochemical, behavioral and neuropathology approaches in mouse models and cell culture. Direct and significant experience in rodent behavioral assessment, neuropathology, transgenic mouse colony management, molecular biology (including western blotting, immunoprecipitation, proteomics), lipid biology and lipid metabolism, and/or combination therein are top priority. Manage and oversee multiple research projects from planning through implementation, evaluation, and reporting, while monitoring scientific progress and daily laboratory operations.
