**Description**

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Research Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) routinely applies medical knowledge and experience to direct the clinical course of research participants in clinical trials, assures study participant safety, and manages clinical research protocols and procedures.
+ Assists in the evaluation and follow up for safety and efficacy of participants.
+ Conducts research participant interviews and documents research participant histories, psychosocial histories, health status and medical problems or potential problems.
+ Performs chart abstractions and determines eligibility of potential study participants.
