Job Description
**Description:** The Advanced Programs and Exploitation (APEX) team with Lockheed Martin in Boulder is looking for a research scientist to support ongoing programs and internal research and development efforts. The APEX team supports multiple programs related to mission processing applications of remote sensing payloads and multi-int fusion.
This position will be expected to:
• work in coordination with our research scientists, FPGA engineers, and software engineers for all activities required to develop, test, and deliver prototype and fully capable systems.
• work with software engineers to develop C++ and Python code.
• perform data analysis to evaluate various mission processing solutions to determine the best one for various missions.
• provide algorithm expertise (for detection, tracking and multi-int fusion purposes).
• optimize performance of a signal processing chain.
• possibly work on AI/ML algorithm applications.
