  • Oversee and contribute to capacity development and mentoring of students and staff in research.
  • Lecture research methodology and related subjects in the faculty.
  • Research collaboration nationally and internationally.
  • Enhance opportunities for embedding research in society.
  • Provide support for data analysis to researchers and students.
  • Provide academic management and administration leadership.
  • Participate in curriculum development and design for research methodology.
  • Willingness to be a member of the Faculty Research and/or Ethics Committee.
  • Contribute to Quality Assurance activities of the faculty (e.g. postgraduate approval and assessment).
  • Contribute to strategically positioning and visibility of the faculty.
  • Build national and international collaborations, linkages and partnerships with industry, community, Health Departments, training providers, researchers etc.
