Job Description

Head Medical is seeking PGY4+ doctors (IMT/Core Trainees) for Geriatric opportunities located in Palmerston North; a vibrant and youthful city, set at the foot of the Tararua mountain range. It has all the facilities that you would expect of a city, yet is still compact, accessible and easy to navigate.

Salary $106,172 -$146,572 NZD (depending on experience
12-month contract commencing August 2026
The Role
Palmerston North Hospital is a 350-bed secondary teaching hospital providing one of the largest trauma centres in New Zealand serving an urban population of 80,000 and a total population catchment of approx. 168,000.
