Job Description
The Resident Engineer (RE) is the Engineer’s full‑time representative on site, responsible for supervising construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract conditions, and statutory requirements.
Contract Administration
Act as the Engineer’s Representative under the Contract.
Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
Issue Site Instructions (SI) and review Contractor’s method statements.
Monitor project progress against approved work programme.
Technical Supervision
Supervise construction works including civil & structural components.
Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and good engineering practice.
Coordinate with design consultants on technical clarifications.
Attend and chair site meetings.
Review shop drawings and material submissions.
