Responsibilities of Resident Technical Officer RTO (Architectural) To monitor the project including progress control, quality control, variation/cost control, safety control, environmental control etc. To check that contractor executes preliminaries on all items specified in tender documents. To maintain proper and updated daily records of all works done, including records of tests, inspections, status of work, safety, site diary, material and equipment on site, labour, dayworks, provisional quantities, etc. To ensure architectural specifications are met and details are executed by the contractor. To liaise with contractors/sub-contractors in the coordination of site works. To assist Consultant/Employer in the supervision and quality assurance of construction work on-site and off-site manufacturing facilities.
