Summary About the Position: This position is with the Defense Commissary Agency, Overseas Accounting Branch, located in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Responsibilities Performs assignments related to DOD financial management. Performs analyses of financial data, processes, and reports to identify trends, discrepancies, potential issues, and inconsistencies. Utilizes a variety of DeCA and financial systems to perform data management and analysis. Furnishes advice and guidance to managers and supervisors on financial issues, accounting classifications, and the interpretation of regulations. Collects and compiles statistical and narrative data for reporting on financial operations. Designs, plans, and conducts work measurement and benchmarking studies of work processes or functions. Assists with or performs internal control reviews/audits to identify material weaknesses.
