About the Role
​Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral are looking for a Respiratory Physician to join our team based at Palmerston North Hospital providing specialist secondary care services to the MidCentral region. This position would be suitable for an experienced or a newly qualified specialist.
The position involves the provision of general respiratory inpatient and outpatient services including fibreoptic bronchoscopy, EBUS and reporting on sleep studies and respiratory lung function tests. With the introduction of a linear EBUS service 3 years ago, competency in performing linear EBUS is essential. This position may also include participation in the general medicine on call roster for the weekend depending on scope approval with MCNZ.
