Job Description
An assistant manager at a cafe is responsible for many tasks, including:
Managing day-to-day operations - Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including delegating tasks to staff
Ensuring quality - Ensuring food is prepared and presented to agreed standards, and that orders are made correctly
Managing stock
Maintaining cleanliness
Managing customer experience
Opening and closing - Leading the opening and closing processes, and ensuring the next shift is set up
Providing feedback - Providing feedback on employee performance, and escalating issues to the general manager
Assistant managers at a cafe may also be required to:
Maintain equipment, such as coffee machines and grinders
Assist with seasonal promotions
Be knowledgeable about the ingredients in the food served
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
