Retail Area Support Officer

About The Role

Flexible working across multiple locations, varied shifts, and an SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding) are required for the Retail Area Support Officer role. The candidate will travel between Morrisons stores for holiday and sickness cover, fulfilling cover schedules across various sites in the region.

Working schedules per site include:

• York – 07:00‑15:00 / 10:00‑20:00 / 14:00‑22:00, Sun 10:00‑16:00
• Malton – 14:00‑22:00, Sun 10:00‑16:00
• Scarborough – 12:00‑22:00, Sun 10:00‑16:00
• Bridlington – 13:00‑22:00, Sun 10:00‑16:00

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong and visible security presence to deter theft, anti‑social behaviour, and other risks.
• Conduct regular patrols across store premises, ensuring safety and vigilance at all times.
• Monitor CCTV and other security systems to identify and respond to suspicious activity.
